Eagle Seminar for Native American Heritage Day

The eagle is a sacred animal and symbol to the Prairie Island Indian Community. As part of Native American Heritage Day at Treasure Island, the National Eagle Center will join us for a free seminar on November 27 at 1pm in Parlay Lounge. Learn about the majestic eagle and the importance it has in the Native American culture. After the eagle presentation, there will be an opportunity to have your picture taken with a live eagle ambassador from the National Eagle Center. This event is open to the whole family and will follow immediately after the Prairie Island Tinta Wita Takoja drum and dance troupe performance at noon.
