This annual pep rally for Minnesota and local nonprofit organizations and schools is an important day to give to your favorite charity. In Red Wing, you’ll see many organizations promoting GO GREEN and GIVE GREEN! The town will be decorated green and everyone is encouraged to wear green in support of this important and fun event! The goal is to raise awareness for 27 (and counting) local non-profits that serve our community in a variety of ways, build collaborative connections in the non-profit community and to raise over $200,000 in 24 hours! From 8AM--4PM, visit Pier 55/Red Wing Senior Center, the Sheldon Theatre or the YMCA to learn more about local non-profits and programs in the community. The event will conclude with a celebration at the Sheldon Theater from 5-8PM with live music and representatives from community organizations.
If you can’t make it to the event that day, you can still donate. Go to GiveMN.org, search for your favorite organization (or cause), then go directly to their giving page and schedule your gift using the donation form. Your gift will automatically transact on November 13 (at a randomly generated time) and help make your favorite cause eligible for special Give to the Max Day prize incentives.
