              Event Description:
              The Red Wing Noontime Kiwanis Club and Red Wing Area Chamber of Commerce will hold a Goodhue County Board Candidate Debate from Noon to 1:30PM, Thursday September 25 at the St. James Hotel.
               
              The format will be similar to past debates: Candidates will have 2 minutes to introduce themselves, then provide 2-3 minute answers to a series of questions. There will be a moderator and a time keeper. The final 2 minutes will allow a summary statement from the candidates. Reservations are required. This event is free and open to the public. If you want a lunch provided by the St. James, the cost is $15 and reservations are required by September 22.               October 23, District 21 Candidates, Tim Kelly and Lynn Schoen, will debate and follow the same format.
               
              There are no contests in the elections for Sheriff, County Attorney and School Board, so those debate sessions have been cancelled.
