This meeting will be an Open House format, with no formal presentation, so stop in anytime your schedule allows and share your thoughts on this important project! At this meeting, MnDOT will be asking for specific feedback regarding final road layout, access points, lighting, pedestrian elements, turn lanes, length of construction project and scheduling, and streetscape/aesthetics. This Open House will be the last public input opportunity during the preliminary design phase focused on identifying what will be constructed. The final design phase will soon be underway and will continue through November 2014, focusing on how the project will be constructed.

A consultant that specializes in assisting businesses and communities that are having major construction projects will be in Red Wing to discuss tips and techniques for businesses to survive the construction period. Minnesota Main Street & DTMS have contracted with Jay Schlinsog, from the Downtown Professionals Network in Franklin, Tennessee to assist the Red Wing community. Anyone is welcome to attend the Roundtable discussions. Jay will also be doing one-on-one consulting with businesses while he is in town.
