The Hospice program at Mayo Clinic Health System in Red Wing is celebrating three decades of serving the Red Wing community and will be hosting an Open House on September 11 from 4-6PM in the cafeteria at the Professional and Community Center (1407 West Fourth Street) honoring its success over the years. Sharon Marty, the first Red Wing Hospice Director, Mary Miller, founder of Red Wing Hospice, and June Gustafson, one of Red Wing Hospice’s first nurses, contributed to the success of meeting hospice needs around the region for over 30 years. Join the Hospice team for refreshments and a short presentation honoring staff and looking back over the last three decades. This event is free and open to the public.
