Tuesday, October 7—Social Hour—4:30-6PM—Parlay Lounge—Treasure Island Resort & Casino (5734 Sturgeon Lake Road, Welch, MN) AND United Way Chili Cook Off!
We’re combining a social and educational event for an evening of fun! Join us at the Parlay Lounge, located at Treasure Island Resort & Casino and enjoy some social time with your other HYPE associates. There will be designated tables in the Parlay Lounge for HYPE attendees; look for signs when you enter. There is no charge for this event and it is a cash bar.
Pam Gorman, Board Member of United Way will join us and is going to explain all the important things the United Way does in our community! After Pam’s presentation, the HYPE group will move to the Convention Center and enjoy the United Way Chili Feed.
The United Way of Goodhue, Wabasha & Pierce Counties is hosting their 11th Annual Chili Cook Off from 5-7:30PM at the Treasure Island Resort & Casino Convention Center. Cost is $5 each. This event is a great way to get people involved and enjoy food and fun, all while learning about and supporting the United Way.

The mission of HYPE is to cultivate, inform and connect aspiring community leaders ages 21-40. HYPE encourages young adults to participate in programming designed to demonstrate leadership, encourage community involvement and build a network of professional contacts. Events include professional education, community outreach projects and networking events.
We continue to add people to our HYPE list and we’ve been promoting HYPE to the businesses and manufacturers in our community.
