Selma Fernández Richter, Andy Richter, and Jovan C. Speller are award-winning photographers and parents who capture images that reflect the joys, challenges, responsibilities, and societal pressures of raising children in the twenty-first century. This exhibition reflects the emotions and experiences of parents today, while also showcasing a range of photographic techniques and practices by contemporary artists. Picturing Parenthood runs from May 4 – July 28, 2024 in Gallery One at the Anderson Center.
Anderson Center Galleries are free to the public and open Wednesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Gallery One is on the lower level of the main building and is fully wheelchair accessible via an elevator.
