Whether you prefer primitive stoneware, mid-century modern dinnerware or art pottery, one-of-a-kind pieces or something in between, you’ll see it on display at the new 13,000 sq. ft. Pottery Museum of Red Wing, located at 240 Harrison Street, in the Pottery Annex Building. At 5:45PM the Chamber Staff and Ambassadors will perform an Official Ribbon Cutting at the Museum, followed by the Foundation’s kick off for the “Wine-ing for Red Wing Fundraiser” 6-9PM. This fundraiser features food, beverages, raffles, silent and live auctions featuring trips, jewelry, and of course one-of-a-kind pieces of pottery made specifically for the event. In addition, there will be live music by Karl Burke. You’ll also get a chance to meet the Red Wing Royal Ambassador Candidates as they serve appetizers throughout the evening. This Grand Opening celebration takes place the day before the Red Wing Collectors Society Convention officially begins.
