This role is essential in ensuring the accuracy of our financial records and supporting the company’s overall financial health.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate daily and monthly accounting, as directed, including but not limited to: monthly general ledger reconciliation, monthly accruals, depreciation, A/P and A/R reports and statements, bank deposit preparation
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper valuation of inventory in accordance with accounting principles.
- Conduct regular inventory reconciliations and audits to verify stock levels and identify discrepancies.
- Prepare and present inventory reports to management, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
- Assist in the development and implementation of inventory control procedures and policies.
- Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate records of all financial transactions.
Qualifications and Skills:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 5+ years of accounting experience
Preferred:
- CPA or CMA certification is a plus, but not required.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and inventory management software.
- Experience working in an automotive, marine, or power sports dealership environment is preferred.
